Every LJ Artisan Designs jewelry item is a true original, but there are times when you want an item to mark a special occasion or milestone event, to be a meaningful gift, or to experience the excitement of working alongside a designer to create a jewelry item that is unique to you.

Types of Custom Work

There are generally two types of custom work that I do for clients - customizations and bespoke items. 

Customizations are variations of existing LJ Artisan Designs pieces. For example, if you love the Lily Necklace, but would like to have it in solid gold, or if you’d like the Eleanor Ring with a ruby instead of a kyanite stone, we can work together to make that happen. Bespoke pieces are items that are truly One of a Kind and are the result of a step by step collaboration with a client to create a jewelry item that will be treasured for years to come.

Custom Order Process

The first step towards your One of a Kind jewelry item is to complete the Custom Order Inquiry Form (at the bottom of this page). It’s totally fine if you don’t know exactly what you want yet. This form will be a great starting point to help me understand what you’re interested in. 

Once I receive your Custom Order Inquiry Form , I will reach out to you to schedule a consultation, which can be done in person or remotely via Zoom. During this consultation, we will discuss details of your project such as design ideas, gemstones, metal choices, timeline, and budget. Based on this information, a design plan will be created and agreed upon and then we’re on our way to a beautiful and unique item just for you!

 

Every LJ Artisan Designs item is created by hand by me so I can only take a limited number of custom orders per quarter. If your order is time sensitive, please reach out to me via the Custom Order Inquiry Form to get you added to my calendar. I will do my best to accommodate your order if I am able. Once we begin a custom order project, they can take 8-12 weeks to complete, although some orders are quicker.
